changed to new FW N80IE v4.0632.0.38..voice mess ind. icon problem

hi guys, i have a problem. I just had a FW upgrade on my n80 to the nnew N80IE v4.0632.0.38
When i receive a voice message the indicator comes on. When i listen to the message and then delete it, the indicator comes back/stays on with the left circle in black....does anyone know how to get rid of the message indicator? Or is everyone with the N80IE having the same problem? please help, thanks

Take your sim card out, put into a different phone, one that hasn't been unbranded. Send a voice mail to your self (call your self), read it and your Voice mails are cleared, place sim card back into N80ie and Taa-Daa

I don't think so.. Based from my experience..

It did the same on my 6270... That's why I sold it in a heartbeat..

Its a problem with your Network Provider not recognizing your phone!

Hopefully someone can help you!

I had the same problem with 6270... this issue was so annoying so got rid of it.

There are ways to fix it, I'm just not bothered by it. It really depends also on the type of SIM card you have. I never experienced this problem on Gemplus SIM cards but on this new brand SIM I have for my plan on T-Mobile, no matter what type of phone it will still show the voicemail indicator.
