Change title text?

Hey all, I don't know much about phones, so this might be simple or it might be impossible. I've tried searching for a solution, but I am not sure how to even look it up.

My T-Mobile myTouch slide has title text that appears on the lock screen and the notification pull down. Is there a way to change those? I understand the T-Mobile part is probably linked to the current service provider, but the "Get more..." part has to be a setting, right?

Also, why does the 2nd line get cut off in both places? Anyway to fix that too?

My gf has a slide and I've never noticed the "get more" part. I'll have to look at her phone Thursday when I see her, but hers looks different I think.
 
Nope, my gf's slide only says T-Mobile on one line, the "Get More" part doesn't exist on hers, so it's not something that should be there. I know it comes from the network ID sent out to your phone by the towers, you may want to go into a local store and see if they can figure out what is causing it.

My friend has a G1, but he has had his plan for so long, instead of saying T-Mobile it says Voicestream lol. Head into a store and see what they can tell you.
