change photoshop cs5 input menu?

hey my dad thinks that his version of photoshop cs5 had under the input menu the name of his scanner but now it just has "WIA support ..." and once you click that opens a window with the list of all attached scanners. He essentially wants me to change it so instead of it having the WIA support there it have all the attached scanners in its place...... I know i probably cant do it so my next question is to ask am i able to change the text?
