Change in idle speed ?

Out riding most of the day on Sat and stopped for a cold one towards eve and when I came out to leave my idle jumped up to around 1800 RPM's. The only way it would go back down was to twist the throttle backwards a little. Obviously this was a pain in the arse to do the rest of the trip home. Got up Sunday AM and it did the same thing for about 30 mins then went back to normal. I am leaving for Key West in about 4 weeks and am now a little concerned something may be going south on my throttle by wire. I am sure if I take it my local dealer when it is now working they will say it is "normal" and not do a thing to find out what was wrong. Any suggestions on the reasons or possible places to look for issues will be appreciated. I do not need a breakdown on my way south if it can be avoided. Just a note I am running the PCV that was setup from Fuelmoto.

Had the same problem a month or so ago. Try this. Turn the ignition switch to the on pos. Leave it on until the fuel pump shuts off. Switch to off. Do that 3 more times and the idle should return to normal. It worked for me.
