Change HTC Magic Frequencies?

Hey,

Is it possible to change the HTC Magic's transmitter unit for different frequencies? I have the american phone with HSDPA frequencies of 850/1900 and want to use it in Germany where they are 1900/2100. I doubt this is possible, but does anyone know if it might be?
