Chances of going to UCR or UCI?

my advice is to increase those grades, maybe not take all AP/honors classes since it seems to be hurting you. Luckily for you junior grades are more crucial. I would say at least shoot for a 3.5...and also do average to good on the SATs and SAT IIs. My stats were a 4.0-4.2 1740 SAT and both SATIIs in the 600s, i got into UCI and would have gotten into Riverside if i applied.

Hey I'm a sophmore right now and I'm extremely worried about college already. I completely bombed my sophmore year with these classes
AP Euro: C
H Chemisity: C
H Math Analysis: D
H English: B
Spanish 2: B
Tennis: A

I'm currently taking all the same classes, except, I've gone from Math analysis to Calculus A

What do I need to do to improve my grades to get into UCI or UCR? I'm completely worried right now about everything and I'm drastically trying to improve my grades anyone have any advice what so ever? I heard freshman year doesn't really count towards UC GPA so I didn't put my grades for freshman year into acount.
