Okay so I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease prior to going into my first year of college. I had no idea how would it impact me but it soon caught me off guard and caused my grades to suffer throughout the semester. It got really bad towards the end and it caused me to not even be able to sit through all my classes so my best option was to withdraw from all my classes. This threw off the ratio between credits attempted and earned so my aid was cancelled. I have written evidence from my doctor that I have this lifelong illness. What do you think my chances of appeal are? Is it possible that I can receive aid again? Its the only way I can afford to go to college.
