My cousin has an '89 Toyota Camry and her center brake light hasn't been working for years now. The dealer wants way too much to fix it so we're looking for another option. The center brake light needs to be working because
1) It's required for cars made after a certain year
2) She is taking her driving test for her license and will fail if all brake lights don't work
Please help. We do not want to take it to the dealer to get it fixed.
By the way, the bulb does not need to be replaced. We've tried that in the past and it's not the solution. It sounds like the whole system needs to be replaced.
