cd player stopped working again?

my car's cd player has been broken for over a year, but then suddenly started working a few weeks ago. then today it stopped working again. the radio runs fine but i'm wondering if the cd player will fix itself again. is there anything i can do? (clean it somehow, hit it, etc.)
 
idk man my pioneer lights that light up the nmbrs and buttons dosent work but it turned on 4 a day or 2 but then it quit idk un hook it and then hook it back up and try it again if that dosent work then buy a new cd player
 
You can try smacking it a few times. If it doesn't work, just get a new one.
