CBS fall lineup includes a couple of 80's revivals

It's not like Captain N will get a revival, with only Nintendo Characters, and end up with Samus and Mario replacing MegaMan and Simon Belmont, and Bowser being the true evil of NintendoLand! That would also bring forth Bowser's recent minions into play, like Petey Pirahna, his son Bowser Jr, and probably put Ridley in there. This might make Cranky Kong rant about how WORSE the show would be, compared to the Original Captain N, and how he used to be a giant ape who could easily crush the creators responsible for the whole mess.

Naw, that was just randomness speaking. Besides, it's not like there would be an excuse to bring in the Star Fox Team in an animated format, including Krystal.

A Captain N revival would work but it will require a LOT of restructuring. For starters, the characters can't act like pun spouting goofballs anymore. Secondly, the show will need to be a tad more dramatic. The light hearted comedy aspects can work in some places but when serious moments rear up, the team need to address that. Thirdly, the plots have to be more coherent with less deus ex machina victories, and finally, make the video game characters actually act like their video game counterparts! Simon Belmont, I'm looking at you.

That said, I hope one day NBC can bring back a Saturday morning block similar to what they had in the late 80's and early 90's where the shows they had were reasonable to watch.

As for Care Bears, there is only one policy I have related to that show. Beastly or bust. Face it, Beastly was the only reason to watch that show back then.

Also the early 1980's, when they had Spider-man and his Amazing Friends, the 1982 Hulk cartoon to the line-up before relying too much on Smurfs

The block for this fall will be called KEWLopolis. It starts September 15. This is the schedule as of September 15:
7 AM- Care Bears: Adventures In Care-A-Lot (new Series)
7:30- Strawberry Shortcake (Reruns of 2003 series)
8 AM- Cake (Season 2)
8:30- Horseland (Season 2)
11 AM- Sabrina
11:30- Trollz

November 3, KEWLopolis will say goodbye to Sabrina and Trollz, and Sushi Pack and Dino Squad (formerly I Was a High School Dinosaur) take over.
