What happened to CBC HD Ottawa? Will it be back for HNIC Ottawa games this season?

Well, we have CBC HD Vancouver now - maybe they'll show the other game on it. I'd prefer more Montreal games on there though.....i've given up hope that HNIC will stop showing the Laffs once they're eliminated from playoff contention on December 15th.

PrettySteve ... RDS has the rights to Montreal games on Saturday night, you could tune in to that channel and listen to it on nhl com.

I tried watching the Habs games on RDS (RDSHD now) and as I don't speak french I would tune into CJAD. Problem I have encountered is that the audio and play of the game is out of sync between RDS and CJAD. Don't know about nhl.com.

Pssst... if you are in Ottawa, stick an antenna on and use the ATSC tuner to add CBC Ottawa over the air. They broadcast a bunch of non-national games in HD last year!

CBC Ottawa HD was never offered by Bell, it is CBCHD Toronto and CBCHD Vancouver, sorry about that

You're right, CBC HD was never offered, but last year, Bell sometimes showed regional games on 804 (before they had the CBCW feed), which sometimes included Senators games when they weren't the national game. (It sometimes also included whatever the 2nd west game was). I doubt they have the room to do so this year but I could be wrong. I'm lucky I'm in Ottawa, so I get this with an antenna (which has the added benefit of being in 1080i instead of Bell's crappy re-compressed and down-scaled 720p).

Perhaps it was only available in Atlantic Canada, it was ch 805 and the only guide info was Sens games. I was able to switch between the Sens games and leafs on 804 to see how badly they were losing.
