My one year old cat is having a strange odor around his back around and around his tail there's redness and flaky skin. He keeps licking himself and I think that irritates it more. Could it be he is allergic to fleas? Or is it a skin disease?
Another problem I have noticed is with him and his brother. They seem to fall into very deep sleeps, so deep that they fall in the floor off of shelves and what not. The eldest did this recently and his eyes were slightly open but was limp. I thought he was dead, but I had to tap him to wake him up. It scared me to death! Could it be epilepsy?
