Casshern Sins

Nope you can just start off with this series alone.

In the 5th episode we got to find out a little more about Casshern and about why that pink haired girl wants to kill him, Casshern killed her sister and with her last worRAB she basically was still muttering Cassherns name, also right at the end someone turned up who looks like and knows Casshern, im guessing its either Dio or Reda.

Episode one is out. This is one of the series I've been looking forward to the most, but since it is the first fall series out by Madhouse I was worried how good it would be. The reason for this is that Madhouse has a bunch of series coming out this fall and I was wondering if that would effect the quality. Thankfully it didnt because the first episode of Casshern Sins had great artwork and good animation. The story so far has a dark feel to it and is kinda weird in a good way. The main character Casshern has no memory's and its seems he's just awakened, which gives the story a nice touch of mystery. All in all a good first episode.

I watched the first episode and absolutely loved it. The action was surprisingly well animated and I do admire the initial simplicity of the storyline. Also, Casshern is lookin' a lot like Seiya. My only gripe is that the opening could use some actual animation rather than just a slideshow. Definitely looking forward to watching more.

I dont think her sister meant what she thought. When she said "He is... this worlRAB tradegy" I think she was referring to someone else. Then she said "please Casshern" which I think was meant more like please Casshern save the world. Of course I could just be reading to much into it.

So the guy standing on the cliff ended up being Dio and he was as strong as Casshern if not stronger, after giving Casshern abit of information he told him he has to kill him to save the world and they began to fight, a woman was up on another cliff who looked like Casshern and Dio so she must be Reda, just when Dio had Casshern down that pink haired girl appeared and sliced Dio straight in the gut, he was rescued by Reda before she could do anything else, two strange things, one why did she save Casshern and two how the hell is she that ubber strong.

Hmm im thinking theres already a thread about this, anyways i loved the first episode, the opening fights were great and fluent and Casshern was whooping ass, looks like he will be fighting the pink haired girl next who seems to know more about him than he does and she doesn't like what she knows.

Attention:
Epi. 13 has come out and this looks like a turning point in the series. It answers a lot of questions. Go get it!! You will not be disappointed.

There is also a new ED.

Question: Do you think Luna is still alive?

I knew that guy would have some important role in this series but i never thought he would be the one who created Casshern although i do remeraber him fixing robots earlier on in the series, as for Luna still being alive i think she is alive but can't really see how as when Casshern gets into that fighting mode he just destroys everything.

I believe your referring to this thread.

I thought I'd make an official one that gives some info on the series.

When he's in battle mode he's blind to what's around him. To him everything is a target to destroy. Ringo's feelings for Casshern is what preventing him from destroying her. Hey, we also got to meet Braiking Boss finally.

OMG!!! I can't believe the ending of epi. 14

Luna is alive...or at least it looks like Luna. I thought Ringo might have had something to do with a reborn Luna....I was wrong.

Yeap it did indeed look like her which makes you wonder how she survived Cassherns attack, Dio said he was always looking at Cassherns back and it showed a image of him there when Casshern was supposed to of killed Luna, if for some reason Casshern didn't kill her Dio must of been convinced she was dead to leave it.

Oh I'm grabbing this right now and watching it right away. The dustmen will wake me up in a couple of hours anyway.

And yeah, Madhouse seem to be doing every new series. But I'm guessing their cream of the crop will be working on this one, its a classic work.

There's no reason to assume that Casshern didn't kill Luna in the first place. Ruin and Casshern's eternal life didn't occur on it's own after all.

This Luna is either a fake or Luna reborn. Luna is after all called Sun named the Moon, the Sun traditionally having elements of life giving and power connected with it, it doesn't seem so unlikely that she could be reborn with that in mind.
