So as some of you know, my 848 was totaled and am wrapping up ends with the insurance company.

I LOVED my 848 but maybe wanted a bit more balls or i dunno.

So; $13400 later; im wondering what i should replace my poor poor baby with.

This 08 848 with 1 mile + extended warranty for $12995.

Would i have an even BIGGER shit eating grin on my face with the 1098? or should i pocket a few hundred and stick with the 848?

Thoughts opinions?

Thanks

PS. dont buy these bikes. I need one badly! Help me.. Dont steal

He we go again you had the 848 get the 1098 it's a better bike 848 if your on a budget i think you will find most 848 guys will eventually get a 1098 you will just progress a little quicker than the others.

It is $2500 more for 2008 model, but you got special rate to back you up. You are paying the price of 848, but getting a 1098!! Now, I have 2 other buddy is buying now!!

or.... Should I go and see about financing a new 08 1098 for one of those super low interest rates and then drop like a few grand on the monthly payment and pay it off in a few months.

My problem is getting ahold of the extra $1500 right now to buy that used 1098.

Could always use the loan to build credit and have enough time to save up that extra cash.

What are new 08 1098's going out the door for now a days?

I know I'd have to pay the TTL but that's ok I guess.

Couldn't hurt to pay that loan off like $2000 at a time could it?

I guess this could be a credit building thing.
