Storyline

In World War II Casablanca, Rick Blaine, exiled American and former freedom fighter, runs the most popular nightspot in town. The cynical lone wolf Blaine comes into the possession of two valuable letters of transit. When Nazi Major Strasser arrives in Casablanca, the sycophantic police Captain Renault does what he can to please him, including detaining Czech underground leader Victor Laszlo. Much to Rick's surprise, Lazslo arrives with Ilsa, Rick's one time love. Rick is very bitter towards Ilsa, who ran out on him in Paris, but when he learns she had good reason to, they plan to run off together again using the letters of transit. Well, that was their original plan.

Casablanca is a film about the personal tragedy of occupation and war. It speaks to the oppression of one side - and the championship and self-deprecation on the other hand. Of opportunists, and isolationists - from national to disenchanted lovers - the film contains both a man or woman will enjoy. Courage, courage, intrigue, romance and beauty and love. Actors leading to please any appetite. Watch this film is a step back to a world that does not exist - that you know it. It is the experience of life that were not ever lived - the "real you", but this is to know the pain and joy and pride and compassion for the characters that is fiction - is still true that you can not only get lost in their story.
