Cartoons You like that everyone else hates

Same! XD I was kinda taken aback when the NC ranted about AoStH since all of his reasons gave me more of a reason to like it. XD

I agree. It's nice to watch a good old fashioned (aside from the CGI) talking animal cartoon that doesn't feature kids with school-rated, popularity problems. And it features some of my favorite old-school voice actors.

The Batman.- I'll admit this show has dropped the ball on ocassions, and is not as strong as Batman: The Animated Series or Brave and the Bold. However, it was still pretty stong. And it's hard to hate anything Batman. So Joker had dreadlocks. Big whoop.

I will say that the Woody Woodpecker revival was slightly better than the ones Paul J. Smith directed in the sixties and seventies. Then again, I can name tons of cartoons that were better than those garbage.

Again, I never knew that The Mask:TAS was hated. In fact, I've rarely heard anyone say anything about that series, positive or negative.

Mine really aren't their own cartoons, but rather they're later seasons of cartoons that were given new formats.

The New Batman Adventures (the Kids WB episodes of Batman:The Animated Series). A lot of people don't care for these episodes, but I liked them. I preferred this Batman design compared to the Batman:TAS one. Also, a lot of my favorite Batman episodes were during these seasons.

Beast Machines (the sequal to Beast Wars). I loved seeing their version of Cybertron. Another thing that I liked about it was that it was one of the rare times that you see a villan achieve at least part of his ultimate goal. And finally, I think the Beast Machines episodes helped the entire series come full circle. The episodes added so much to the overall story.

I finally sat down and watch the whole series earlier this year after missing out on it back in the 90's. The 1994 season (season 1) is AWFUL!!!!!!! They have the most stupid dialog, they get in the most situations and it is completely garbage compared to the better Marvel or DC shows of the 90's. I had to watch the last 3 or 4 episodes at 1.5x speed just to get through it.

The 1995 season (season 2) on the other hand is good and is 100000000000X much better than that wack season 1. It's not as good as 90's X-Men or Spider-Man, but it's good and entertaining. If season 1 had been done like season 2, this show would have lasted longer than 2 seasons and would be better respected and remembered.

The 4Kids dub of Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh. What the hells the problem? Both shows had the same plot as the japanese versions, and had a surpirsingly small amount of edits and a reasonably talented voice cast.. I'm not going to call either show high art, but they were'nt terrible, and they were occasionaly quite entertaining. Also, I thought most of the shows problems were inherent in the show itself, not the dub-job.

If anime included, i would say Sailor Moon. Well, i was surprised that many people hate Sailor Moon. I used to love that show when i was still small. I was more of addicted to it than just like it.

I think the hatred for Sailor Moon is mostly hatred of the dub. which pretty much hacked up the original show. There was still some charm to the dub, but a lot of stuff got changed and cut out, due to Sailor Moon actually being a fairly adult show (certainly by American standards) that dealt with stuff like homosexuality.

Wedding Peach - Though most people have never heard of this anime, most of the people who know what Wedding Peach is claim that it's a Sailor Moon rip-off, and say that it sucks.

While Wedding Peach is very similar to Sailor Moon, I say that Wedding Peach does some things better than Sailor Moon, like Wedding Peach being a better heroine than Sailor Moon (From what I remember of Sailor Moon, Sailor Moon tended to be a wuss, during a lot of her earlier fights with the villains of the series.).
