Cartoons that you never saw the first time around, but liked later on

-futurama i never seen until Spring 2007, and liked, but i haven't seen it since they pulled it from adult swim
-south park was pretty good. i never watched it until like last year, but sometimes i think they take it too far on that show
-chowder i thought looked pretty stupid from the commercials over last summer, and i never thought i'd like it, but a month after it came out i liked it. but it is still stupid
-the pink panther, i wasn't even born when it came out, but when we got boomerang i watched it and liked it

Almost any pre 90s cartoon, when I was little I had a huge aversion to old tv shows and they always bored the hell out of me. Now that I'm older I've grown to appreciate older toons and enjoy them.

This is kind of in a similar vein. I honestly never paid attention to Tiny Toon Adventures and probably never watched more than 2 or 3 episodes. I paid almost no attention to the eps, tho, so I might as well have not watched any. Honestly, I think I gave up on it because I didn't understand the concept of "homage" and I thought it was just a Looney Tunes rip-off. Stupid, stupid, stupid. When it came back in repeats on Nick and then on Cartoon Network, I avoided it like the plague, perhaps as a residual from my then-hatred of Animaniacs (I got sick of A! after about 10 eps. More on that in some other post). I've honestly considered going back and getting the DVD to see what I missed, but I don't know if I can plunk down the $$$$$ for an unsure thing.

It surprising how many people aren't getting the point of this thread. South Park does not count. Why? Because it's still airing new episodes.

What counts? Well, in 2000, Cartoon Network picked up Animaniacs and I happened to catch the marathon. Fell in love with it almost instantly and is still a favorite of mine. That's an example of what counts. Think of it as "cartoons you started watching after they were cancelled)...

Brandy & Mr. Whiskers: This show wasn't aired where i live, but after watching on YouTube, this being for me one of the best animated shows of this last 5 miserable years of animation.

Tom & Jerry Kids: I just watched it for the first time in 1996. This is maybe the best Tom and Jerry adaptation to life.

Oban Star-Racers: I never saw it before but after buy the DVD's, i really like the action/adventure and characters designs. It's very french!

I didn't get into Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go! until the 3rd season began. Since I thought the show was interesting, I decided to watch the reruns to catch up on the story and follow the premieres after that.
