Cartoons that should NOT be made into movies

There are some cartoons that should never be made into movies, because you know they'll get screwed up. Here's some of mine.

Peanuts: If this gets screwed up, Charles Schultz will be rolling over in his grave. Lose the CGI and Live-Action, keep it like the specials, and it should do okay.

Captain Planet: Keep Ted Turner away from this one. If you've seen the Robot Chicken clip, you'll know what I mean.
 
There have already been 4 Peanuts movies.

A Boy Named Charlie Brown
Snoopy, Come Home
Race For Your Life, Charlie Brown
Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown (and Don't Come Back!!)

I think the more unrealistic the characters and basic premise of the show are, the less it should be made into a movie. Hollywood obviously doesn't care though.
 
Hey, given Hollywood's recent trends, you never know.

I echo the "Peanuts" sentiment - it would never, ever work in live action (you just know it'd have a CGI Snoopy who's into extreme sports or something). But as long as Lee Mendelson and Bill Melendez are still alive, I don't think we have to worry about such an atrocity actually happening.
 
I suppose a live-action Angry Beavers movie wouldn't be TOO BAD. Any Angry Beavers film would be cool with me as long as the original creators and people involved in the show came back.
And if Nick Bakay and Richard Horvitz came back.
 
There is a live action Peanuts stage play, but yeah a movie with kid actors and a CG Snoopy would be pretty bad.

It's hard to say that any show with a strong enough premise couldn't make a good movie. The CG on something like Garfield gets a bad wrap, but that wasn't the reason the movie was bad, it was the writing.

I was going to say Looney Tunes shouldn't be a live action film but they've already done that.

Let's see a live action Simpsons would make no sense.

I can't even finish that sentence...:D
Anyways, here's my list:

Calvin & Hobbes
Smurfs
I know there are lots more but those are the ones I can think of for now.
