Cartoons Intended For Small Children That You Like Anyway

For some odd reason, i seem to be rather entertained by Franklin the Turtle. Unlike so many other cartoons featuring child protagonists, it actually gives me nostalgic feelings towards my own childhood. I think the fact that the main characters best buddy (the bear called... Bear) is somehow very reminiscent of my own childhood best friend might have something to do with it...

Well Arthur is one which i still like which i watched when young (though not preschool age, but more 8-11 age)... Of newer ones which i have watched since i was eleven or twelve or thereabouts i guess Cyberchase yes i like that one... WordGirl is a more recent one i like... Indeed there are quite a few which i consider good shows. I guess the only issue i have with these shows is that with the exception of ones like WordGirl and Arthur the characters and plots are too simple and unrealistic... However these cartoons do have one merit point in that they lack the more unworthy elements of adult and older kid-teen cartoons like dating, relationships, mobile telephones etc etc

Blue's Clues...back when Steve was hosting. All the drug related jokes my friends and I used to make made the show fun to watch.

Arthur: I started watching it back when it first started, and at that time I was a teenager, well over their target demographic :) And I'll still watch today if it's on.

Cyberchase: If I ignore all the math and problem solving (which is... the whole point of the show XD) it's still a pretty good show.

Magic School Bus: Like Arthur, I believe I was already a teenager by the time it came on TV. But still, it's pretty entertaining.
