Cartoons Intended For Small Children That You Like Anyway

Not like cartoons that are aimed at adults too, but ones that are really aimed for little kids. I always loved Cyberchase and still do.

I'm not talking about shows like Spongebob, Chowder, etc. Because those can be aimed at adults. I'm talking about shows that really only aimed at little kids. Not really any inside jokes.

I think this thread may be a bit too vague. I understand what you mean, but most cartoons are intended for kids, so what’s the specific criteria? Are you talking about educational pre-school shows? Regardless, I’d have to go with “Crashbox”. I obviously don’t need to learn the basics that it teaches, but it looks so surreal and it’s actually a neat concept. I watch re-runs every so often on HBO Family.

Well, I was always fond of Arthur since it always kept me interested with its interesting characters. I also agree that CyberChase is a fun show to watch because of the fun ways they use math in the cyber world. WordWorld is also a show I enjoy mainly because of the ways the characters are designed.

I'd have to go with Max & Ruby. It's quite an enjoyable show. It doesn't really teach anyone anything; but it's always good for pre-schoolers to have a show that they can relate to, right? It's very reminiscent of the shows that were on when I was a toddler - Little Bear and Franklin, specifically.

The show is about two rabbits... Max, the little boy, probably about six years old, and Ruby the older sister, who really seems more like an adult. Max, a man of few words, terrorizes (unintentionally) Ruby's plans in every episode. It's amusing, really.

Just so you know, I don't make a habit of watching this show. *hyperventilates* I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM!

Maybe "Educational Show" would be a better term. Because it doesn't necessarily mean Pre-School. And I would also like to mention Liberty's Kids, I always got a lot of entertainment out of it and it helped me become interested in American History.

Oooh, yeah, Arthur's a good one. I think I watched that one until I was seven or eight years old, believe it or not. Caillou (I know, I spelled it wrong) is also a good one.

EDIT: Cartoon - I changed the title of the thread, so people won't be confused ;)

Hamataro: Its like Rugrats...But with Hamsters.....Whats not to love. Not to mention I find the Show to be a Good Strees Releavier, Its light Hearted & FUN!:anime:

I'll have to say...Arthur. I've been watching it since I was a youngster. Always have. It's very entertaining, and quite unique amongst other shows aimed at the "little kids" audience.

Another Arthur fan here. I grew up on the books, and I like the cartoon. Even though I don't watch it as much as I used to, it's still pretty good to watch whenever I seem to catch it.

Then there's Dora the Explorer. I think it's a neat concept to teach little kids Spanish at a young age, even if it is repetitive from time to time, but hey, I have little cousins I watch over that like this show, and I'm willing to watch it with them.

I guess Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and the new Care Bears aren't that bad for preschooler shows. Also Arthur ans The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh are alright also. I agree with what The Huntsman said about Crashbox even though I have only seen it once.

I really like Krypto the Superdog. I'm still a little dubious about its educational content, but it met the E/I requirements for the 2006-2007 season on the Kids WB! Saturday morning block.

I enjoy watching Arthur as well. I really liked the books and I would always watch the show when I was little. I don't watch it as much as I used to, but it's still pretty fun when I do get the chance to watch it. Even though I haven't seen that much of the show, Cyberchase is another enjoyable show for it's way to handle math and science in the Cyber World.

I've already mentioned this in the Guilty Pleasures thread, but I've recently started getting into 3-2-1- Penguins. It's a cute, silly, entertaining show; I like the penguin crew, the twins Jason and Michelle are cute and endearing and the show remains enjoyable without ramming you on the head with its' Christian overtones.

Pity Qubo's giving it the boot this fall.
