Cartoons For Adults

I saw this a few days ago, I agree pretty much all of those movies our enjoyable no matter what age you are! ecspecially Wall-E & Fantasia possibly two of the best disney & disney/pixar produced animations of all time. Akira's good it wasn't my fav. but deffiantly deserved to be on their, as for fritz I really didn't like it that much (wich is odd considering i like howard the duck.) Mabye its just cause I found it odd for cartoon cats to act in such a manner after watching so much Tom & jerry years prior to seeing fritz. :p  :D

Eh, I don't know. That'd require The Little Mermaid, Princess Mononoke, and pretty much all of Pixar's films to justify that claim.

But that's just me you're asking.:p

I haven't seen most movies on that list...
But yeah, Wall-E is a pretty good movie for adults too. :anime:

And personally I think a better title for you would be Mr. Troll.:sweat:

I'm definately surprised to see Heavy Metal and Fritz on the list... but they missed a lot.

South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut, The End of Evangelion, Ghost in the Shell, Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Colon Film For Theaters, etc.

I don't see how Waking Life could be overrated  Barely anyone saw that movie. I didn't even know of its existence before catching it on a random channel at 2AM a couple of years ago :p

There is no way ATHFCMFFT deserves to be on this or any "best" list (unless its "best marketing" or "best opening scene", there's nothing else worth it about the movie).

I take it they used Akira as a stand-in for all anime movies (which they could probably make a separate list of). If they were going to list any other, I'd guess it'd be Mononoke or GitS (I'd personally pick Tokyo Godfathers).

But it WASN'T a BEST list... I mean, Heavy Metal was on it. XD *shot* I just thought it definitely helped with the "list of movies that prove cartoons =/= kids" concept. (Although one could argue that ATHFCMFFT is a movie that is not fit for anyone.)

It wasn't that bad. And its definitely one of those you have to see a few times to really appreciate, which isn't difficult at with its whopping 86 minute running time.

Either way, "Cut You Up With a Linoleum Knife" should be played before every movie.
