cartoons everyone liked but you hated.

Sorry if this was made before.

Ok, like movies I'm sure we may have had a cartoon in our life that gained a big fandom but you didn't like it.

For me: (I'm gonna get shot for this) Avatar: The Last Airbender. I gave that show a few tries, but I don't know, I just couldn't get into it. It just really bored me. The characters were boring (but I liked sokka hes alright) and the show in general just didn't entertain me.

I agree.

Also, at the time Family Guy was at it's peak, I didn't like it. I barely gave it a chance. But as time went by, I found myself watching a bit more and more of it until I actually said "Hey, this is good for a laugh."

ESPCIALLY SEASON 3 why is season 3 so gooooddd.

The shows I tried to like but sadly I gave up on is Spongebob Squarepants. I just couldn't get into it as everyone else I know has. And Family Guy, I did like the 3 seasons of it, but as for season 4 and up I didn't get that either. It didn't have the charm like it did the early seasons have.

man I thought I was alone on that one! I wasn't allowed to watch it as a kid but I snuck an episode or two. Never cared for it.

Drawn Together- In my opinion there most failed attempt at parodying cartoons for kids with adult themes.

Also, most of the original shows from the Nicktoons network, because I really find them unfunny and boring.

...what?

I honestly don't care if you didn't like ren and stimpy I'm cool with it haha. But what did that have to do with my reply?

I'm relieved to see I'm not the only one who doesn't like Avatar...

That being said, I really don't care for Family Guy since it came back on Fox.

Metalacolypse. I was never that big into metal so the concept wasn't appealing. And looking at it from a non-metal fan's point of view, the characters really aren't all that interesting and the episodes fell into a predictable formula after awhile. It was one of the few AS shows I ever watched that crossed the line of being stupidly funny to being just plain stupid.

You know, something about Samuari Jack has always bothered me, and I think what you said describes my uneasiness towards the show pretty well.

I don't think it's a bad show or anything, but I definitely don't consider it one of the best action shows of all time, like many do.

Yeah I don't get the Drawn Together love. That show was vile. Really squandered such a great premise on "hilarious" racist, homophobic and all around disgusting humor.

Count me in as someone who doesn't like Avatar. I have no beef with the show itself. I just get tired of it's fans trying to make it out to be the be-all and end-all of cartoons. Which it isn't.

Honestly, I did not like Clerks: The Animated Series at all. I happened to rent the DVD boxset once, watched every episode and didn't like a single one. The show just felt so boring and watered down to me. On top of that, the fact that the DVD was R-rated. Really, the animated series was tame enough for anyone aged twelve and up to watch. Was it really necessary to add the vulgar live-action cutscenes with Jay and Silent Bob just to up the rating? I suppose they were trying to get the attention of Kevin Smith's main audience (i.e., adults) to watch the boxset. And if that's the case, that seems pretty deceitful if you ask me.

I'll third the above consensus of Drawn Together. Comedy Central really dropped the ball on that show. The premise had such potential, but it was wasted with the network's ongoing obsession with "pee-pee-ca-ca" humor and a "how low can we go, how many people can we tick off, how much can we get away with" stance. Brilliant idea, horrible execution.

X-Men: Evolution-Teens and shippers loved this new re-imagining of the X-Men universe featuring their favorite mutant characters as high-schoolers dealing with teenage problems in addition to being mutants. I didn't.

Avatar, The Boondocks, & Naruto-I don't hate or even dislike any of these shows, but I just can't get into them the way their hardcore fan bases do, and so I don't buy into the "Best. Show. Ever." hype that constantly surrounds them.

-As previously stated, there aren't any shows I currently hate, just shows I don't get the obsessions with.

BEAUTY AND THE ZOGGING BEAST. Okay, I'm not that big a fan of Disney, but I have soft spots of varying size for Little Mermaid, Aladdin and The Lion King. But I fail to see what's so great about this film. Well-animated, sure, but the script leaves a massive amount to be desired. It's just a bunch of underdeveloped characters mincing about a story with some shocking plot holes.

Quite how it wrangled that best picture Oscar nom is beyond me. Guns were probably involved. And foreheads.

Not to derail the thread, but: why weren't you allowed to watch Rugrats? There wasn't anything controversial about it. The show's biggest crime was that it was a tad innocuous.

My dad had something against angelica *shrug* I thought it was pretty stupid as a rule personally. Not as if she was gonna make me mean or sometihng.
