There have been many cartoons which have been called a parody or a satire, so I thought it would be interesting to have a thread on the topic.

Potential discussion questions

What in your opinion, makes a cartoon a parody or a satire (and what is the difference between the two)

What makes a good parody or a satire? In your opinion?

Has there ever been a case where you've disagreed with the assertion that an animated movie/film is one or the other?
 
How about the satires of TV shows Tom Ruegger used on the 1990's Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, Freakazoid, and Histeria! cartoon series?
