Cartoon Movies Discussion Thread

When it comes to cartoon movies, my fav. classic Disney movie is The Lion King, although, it's still not really old enough to be classic, but you guys get it, lol. And my fav. Disney Pixar movie is Ice Age, I just beyond adore that movie! I am already so excited for the sequel due out next year!

I also love Finding Nemo of course.

There's going to be an Ice Age 2? Wow, that's neat. I never had a chance to finish part 1 but it did look good. It will probably be out next year, I think.

I'm surprised you now only found out about the Yogi Bear live action movie since I did list it in the Live Action thread discussion. :smirk: And as far as The Smurfs film goes, I believe onion brought it up a while back when she posted at another board.

I saw the trailer for the Yogi movie and the only redeeming factor is that Justin Tiraberlake pulls off a convincing Boo Boo.

I finally saw Madagascar on Friday night. It was so cute and funny. My son was cracking up through the whole thing. I think the penguins were the best.

Aww, I have been wanting to see Schwim on talk-shows, I never see him. On those Nickclusive things it just has Ben, Chris, and Jada being interviewed.

I just heard that they are making a movie based on The Smurfs and Yogi Bear cartoons. I don't know about the Yogi Bear movie but the Smurfs looks to be interesting.

Cool. This thread isn't apparently limited to ''cartoon'' films or films about cartoons, though the best ones that come to mind I've seen are ''South Park: Bigger, Longer, & Uncut'' & ''Aladdin''

I just watched the Spongebob movie again last night.

As for Shrek, I just didn't find the humor to be funny. I don't know why. I like Mike Myers. Well kinda. He was okay in the Austin Power movies.

And my avie is Axl Rose.

Madagascar looks so cute. I think I might take my son to see it.

I don't care about a Shrek 3 either. Like I said before, I didn't like the first one and I have no interest in seeing the second.

I haven't heard of Cars. Does it look any good??

I am looking forward to an Ice Age 2. I watch that movie all the time. My son just loves it. We crack up through the whole thing. Sid is hilarious. My son goes crazy over the baby.

I've been wanting to see Spirited Away. I've heard good things about it. I have watched Pokemon before but never really got into it.

There is a couple movies I saw years ago. One was called Vampire Hunter D or something like that. And then there was one called Akura. Both were really good.

I remerabered a few other ones that I used to watch all the time when I was younger.......An American Tale and The Secret of Nihm.

They had a clip of it on Etalk Daily and then they interviewed Dave Schwimmer and Ben Stiller. It was so funny how they incorporated the person into the animation.

Stearaboy came out in the US recently. I just saw Metropolis again on Cartoon Network last night. The visuals are just stunning.

Omg, I know right, Tigger, Piglet, Hefflelump, Pooh's in all, have had ones, bring on the best ever, EEYORE!

I am so anticipating Ice Age 2, also, Shrek 3 couldn't mean anything really to me, lol.

I also want to see Cars...have you guys seen the trailer for that, it looks so cute.

I think they should have stopped at two, and probably make the third one a direct to DVD?

I'm planning to check out Toy Story 3 with a friend next week.
