Cartoon characters with mistaken genders

Haku (Naruto) - Japanese cartoons have a tendency to sometimes make girlish looking male characters but this one takes the cake. When he first talked to Naruto he was wearing a dress or kimono and that further made me believe he was a girl.

Tweety Bird (Various Cartoon Shows) - As mentioned before, when I was a kid I thought Tweety was girl as well.

Moose (Pepper Ann) - Who didn't think Moose was a boy? I had to learn from one of the other characters.

Ed (Cowboy Bebop) - I didn't know what Ed was until I saw the movie but I'm sure they mention it somewhere in the series.

For a while me and my siblings thought Rabbit from 'Winnie the Pooh' was a girl since he was such a nag and he and Tiger acted like a married couple. (I can't believe I just said that but it's kindof true :o ) I also thought Haruhi from Ouran Host Club was a boy...until the whole reveal at the end of the first episode.

I definitely thought Nermal from the Garfield series was female given the fact that his voice sounds feminine and the eyelashes (i know men have eyelashes, but in cartoons they don't normally draw them with eyelashes).

Her name is Sam, she appears in the episode, "to Live and Die in Dixie."

Besides Nermal in "Garfield and Friends", the only other characters I think have mistaken genders are Toaster and Blanky from "the Brave Little Toaster." I also have always thought Diablo (Maleficent's raven from "Sleeping Beauty") was a female, for some reason, but Diablo is a male, if that counts.
