Cartoon Characters that remind you of other Cartoon Characters

I noticed a lot of similarities between the main cast of Danny Phantom and Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide.

Danny-Ned (male main characters who are just normal kids in school)
Tucker-Cookie (techno-geek black best friends)
Sam-Mose (bossy and somewhat tomboyish female best freind who ends up with the main character)
Paulina-Suzy (pretty popular girl who main character has a crush on and female friend hates)
Dash-Loomer+Seth (Loomer is the bully who bullies the main character and Seth is the popular, dumb jock)
Star-Missy (Blonde best friend of popular girl)
Gregor-Famon (foreign guy that female character falls in love with)

I've noticed a fair amount of completely-unintentional parallels between the casts of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and Generator Rex.

Frankie Foster = Doc Holiday. C'mon now: same voice actress (Grey DeLisle), similar fashion and ponytail hairstyle, same caring personality mixed with a hotheaded demeanor. Not to mention Rex crushes on Holiday in the same exact way Mac crushes on Frankie, even though Holiday and Frankie are actually motherly figures towards them.

Mr. Herriman = Six. Stoic, rigid, methodical, have tenuous relationships with the Grey DeLisle-voiced characters (Frankie and Holiday) with whom they are the main authority figures of both shows.

Bloo = Bobo Haha. The main kid's non-human "best" friend who is a sociopathic jackass. At least Rex and Bobo don't fight like Mac and Bloo do.

Not a coincidence, given that Johnny Test's creator, Scott Fellows, was partially inspired by Dexter's Lab. However, the Test Twins were also inspired by Fellows' real life sisters, also named Mary and Susan.

To Fellows' credit, the Test Twins are red-haired geniuses like Dexter, and like Dex they have their own lab and their fair share of sibling problems, but that's where the similarities end. Personality-wise, Susan and Mary are quite different from Dexter.
