Cars 2

Tbh out of all the Disney Pixar movies this has to be one of the weakest and probably the most undeserving of a sequal

For me i would rather see a Monsters Inc 2 or even another Incredibles both were brilliant and ten times better than Cars

Definitely, nothing beats John Goodman and Billy Crystal jumping around as a big hairy beast and a one-eyed goof :p Monsters Inc 2 or an Incredibles sequel would be far more welcomed than :yawn::yawn::yawn::yawn:Cars 2:yawn::yawn::yawn:

i agree. it makes me laugh more than any other pixar film

i love the monsters inc community players at the end doing 'put that thing back'

Brilliant. Absolutely loved Cars. Much better than The Incredibles and although I'm not looking forward to this as much as Toy Story 3, it'll be one to look forward to definitely.

I liked Cars. :o

Looking forward to Cars 2. My little cousins will be pleased. I took them to the cinema to watch Cars on the day it was released and they loved it. Bless them!

I just posted this in the HSM4 thread, but Cars can boast the second (after Star Wars0 most profitable merchandise line of any film! 40 new die-cast cars are due out this year, along with all the new lego-style cars, the Mini-Adventures and a ton of toher stuff. No other movie has this kind of merchandise release so long after the films release and for no other reason than popularity! Cars 2 is the most requested Disney film of recent years - even more so than Toy Story 3!

Not their best franchise and with more painfully stilted cameo voices no doubt. The rest of the upcoming Pixar roster sounRAB good though and no doubt it's being partially funded by Cars' merchandising moolah.

You make a point there.

Plus Cars 2 is possibly going to have its premier in Disney's California Adventure Park to coincide with the opening of Cars Land (complete with 3 rides Mater's Junkyard Jamboree, Luigi's Flying Tires and Radiator Springs Racers).

Synergy at its finest.

It's at least 80% better than the utter tosh that is The Incredibles (fell asleep in the cinema) and the pure lameness that is Finding Nemo. In fact, after Toy Story, it's their best film to date.

Let's see now...only one Pixar film gets it's own theme-land in the US, racks up millions of dollars worth of merchandising each year, gets Wal-Mart so juicy that it gets Mattel to provide them with exclusive cars, gets released on Blu-Ray ahead of other films AND gets a sequel greenlit, the first sequel of a Pixar film outside of the Toy Story franchise.

Can't argue with that. Oh and don't forget the Online Cars world debuting soon.
:D

I'll admit though Cars along with MI and The Incredibles have "worlRAB" that are ripe for further expansion. It's just that Cars lit the touch paper.
