Carry On quote: "It's alright for you, you go to work and enjoy yourself!" - which my husband hates me saying to him!

Film: toss up between Kyhber and Camping
Character: the farmer played by Peter Butterworth in Camping "Thats' a pound" :)
Actor/actress: has to be Kenneth Williams - superb
Quote: So many - but I'll be predictable and go for the "infamy, infamy, they've all got it in for me" from Cleo :)

Character: mmm, tricky one this Lady Ruff-Diamond or Matron (would like to claim I'm a Barbara WinRABor lookalike but Joanie and Hattie are much more me!:D )
Actor: Sid James - but with Kenneth Williams very close behind! And I do have a soft spot for Bernard Bresslaw
Quote: "Fakir: Off" - still makes me laugh whenever I hear it

Film- Carry on Abroad
Character- Daphne Honeybutt- Barbara WinRABor in Spying
Actor- Charles Hawtrey
Quote- Can't think of one for now but "Short back and sides, not so much off the top" and "Drop it in the basket, I'll read it later." springs to mind- when Pommfrit is given a letter as he is about to be guillotined.

Carry On quote I love it when Caesar gets called "Julie"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mark Antony: Look at them. All solid bone and muscle.
Spencius: Bone and muscle I've got plenty of. It's brains what people want nowadays.
Mark Antony: They've got brains. Artisans, every one of them. Here you, what did you do in Britain?
Hengist Pod: I was a wheelmaker.
Mark Antony: See that? He makes wheels.
Hengist Pod: Square ones.
Mark Antony: Square... Never mind. Here, you. What did you do?
Horsa: I was a hunter.
Spencius: A hunter?
Mark Antony: A hunter! Now, what about that then? A hunter. What did you hunt?
Horsa: Romans.

Carry On actor/actress: Sid James
Carry On quote: "This is a refined and respectable area.... and don't you bloody well forget it!"

Favourite film: Screaming, followed by Up the Khyber
Character: Probably the Khasi of Kalabar, or Peter Butterworth's character in Screaming - Detective Constable Slobotham
Actor: Jim Dale
Quote: Ooo What a lovely pear!
or that one from the meeting between Sidney Ruff Diamond & the Khasi of Kalabar in Up the Khyber - something like
"May the radiance of a thousand suns light up your life"
"And up yours"
or
"Fakir - off!"

Carry On film: Carry On Cleo
Carry On character: Julius Caesar ... therefore
Carry On actor/actress: Kenneth Williams
Carry On quote:"Senna, that's a pretty name. It was, 'til I married a burke called Podd!"

Quote:- Dr. Kenneth Soaper: [after Barbara asks about fertility rights] A fine talk you must have given them on the birRAB and the bees.
Miss Haggerd: Well, when I started talking, I realized I had no idea what they do. What do bees do?
Dr. Kenneth Soaper: They sting!

Actor/ Actress Sid, Babs and Kenneth

Trivia:

Did you know that Cabby,Dont Lose Your Head and Follow That Camel were never meant to be Carry On films?

While they were making "Call Me A Cab" it was noticed that the entire production was manned by Carry On cast and crew,so they decided to change it to Carry On Cabby.

When Rank took over the films from Anglo Amalgamated they decided to ditch the Carry On name.
So the Carry On title never actually appears on the credits of Dont Lose Your Head (cant remember if it was still missed of FTC) but it was decided that box office receipts would be better trading on the established Carry On brand

I just watched Carry On Abroad (free with the Sun) - I've never seen it before. What a great one. Nice to see Peter Butterworth with a decent role (but strange to keep Hattie Jacques in the kitchen the whole time).
