There has been this cat (which is our neighbors but it doesnt live inside their house and we are unsure if they feed it much) and it has been coming up to our porch door every night around 7 now. We started giving it water & food and she eats it alot! Is there anything else I can do for this cat? It's cold out and I want it to be comfortable.

Get a little dog house and fill it with straw.Make sure the opening does not face the wind.If you love her ask the neighbors if you can have her.If you want to get crazy get one of those kitty doors and put it on your garage door and teach her how to use it that way she will be out of the elements and put a comfy box in the garage for her.

Since you have a porch it might be nice if you could make it a little warm spot, by building a little house made out of styrofoam maybe. I used to make these for abandoned cats and we found large pieces of styrofoam chucked out at night by fresh produce stores. Perhaps a little blanket in a covered box or something like that. There is not much else you can do as you know the cat has a home, unless you catnap it and make it an indoor cat. I would suggest getting it its needles and fixed if you do this. I once had a neighbour who neglected their cat and I asked if I could take it for its needles as it was eating out of my cats bowls and I did not want my cats getting sick and as they were poor they let me take their cat for its needles. They later moved and tossed their cat out on the street with no home and I had to take it in. I will never regret that it was a wonderful cat when it had a decent home and was cleaned up.
