I have just planted a herb garden and I heard that you need to clip the flower buds off when the herbs begin to bloom, so the plant puts more energy in producing leaves, is this true? or should i just leave it to do its thing.
** this is a serious question in regards to cooking herbs (basil, thyme, sage etc, so no marijuana comments, serious replies from gardening people only please!**
