I’m on my way into my final year of high school. Of course, it’s about time I try and decide on what course I plan to take for my future. I’m doing research on possible choices, and I thought asking a couple of questions here might help me out a bit. Such as, questions about particular Universities, courses, and career paths. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

- Is the English department recommendable?
- Pro’s and con’s of this school?
2) York University:
- Pro’s and con’s
- Information on the English department
3) OCAD:
- Personal experiences?
- School environment, etc.?
4) Career Paths:
- The publishing industry; how to get into it and any information you could provide would be great.
- I consider myself to be fairly artistic, if I were to go into the magazine industry, what skills would I need? Such as, if I wanted to work as a creative page designer, what would I need to do?
- Illustration; is making a living off of being an illustrator hard? I would imagine so. Any information I can get from freelance artists would be great.
5) Other recommended schools in Ontario, Canada. I need a school with a good English program. I’m hoping to major in English. My grade point average is around 76-83. If necessary, I can bring it up this year.
