Fatal Kiss

“What About Her?”

Pools of ocean blue
Dark, always true
Mirror hides nothing
Peering deep inside to find something

Empty eyes
Mouth of lies
Blank face
Forever in the wrong place

Drifts by
Swears to never cry
Soul locked in ice
Clenched in hand is life’s dice

Blind by denial
Her actions can be fatal
Every night in a different man’s arms
Falling for their cheap charms

Deafened by intense drugs
Never given kisses and hugs
Rumors of her fly
She just prays to the blue sky
