Me, I give a Rants Us.

I came upon the forum bored
For answers to my questions
To find out if the world out there
Had any useful suggestions

They came from far and also wide
To offer up their thinking
Of fixes for my troubled poems
Quick answers without blinking

The answers they came thick and fast
With and without pants there
Replyings too I gave to you
Poetic and regular answers

Rants sirs, answers
Please don’t remove your pants sirs
My chances won’t enhance sir
If I include a rant sir

Honest and direct I am
In all deliberating dealings
More practical I hope I sound
Rather than a bunch of feelings

Not popular the truth these days
Long Stories get more credit
I only ask of honest intent
Is that you actually “get it”

Respond with thought in every post
Do no react with ire
Consider all the consequences
Do not reply with fire

Rants sirs, answers
I don’t because I can sirs
This poem is a light reply
To those who post in Answers
 
Been seeing this subject - though you've writ it wonderfully well - but don't exactly know what happened and to whom. I see you, of all people, getting a TD on occasion & I wonder what kind of person would do that to you. (Want me to beat him/her/them up, Friend?) But missed a week or more on here and feel so behind the times. Well, excellent write, great flow & good humor to this! XOX
 
Flare ups occur and will probably continue. Hopefully all will move on, if not, then at least tacit agreement to disagree and civility in going forward. Good words you posted.
