Care Bear movie idea end of No Heart story

The "Music Video" episode, I just saw that a minute ago online (why I don't know, I must be losing it), yeah they didn't cause any trobule, and that singer even referred to them as friends at the end. Even though the music was lame, the wheels on the bus go round and round, if I was there I would be screaming please put something else on, even the Macorena, even the Spice Girls, LOL. I so wished Beastly did use that bat, Beastly said at one point "Rock n Roll", I agree with him. The episode itself was funny. The singer looks exactly like the guy that started that baby riot on the Simpsons.

Did they do a cupid episode, when one of them was hit by cupid's arrow, and feel in love with the other, and of course other one was criped out? That writes itself.

Shreeky is a annoying little brat, but she never goes to the next level, since we are talking about children I'll compair to one of her peers, look at Azula from Avatar: The Last Airbender, especially young Azula from "Zuko Alone", now that is an evil child. She knew the consiquences of her actions, and she loved it. Azula goes to that next level and beyond. I could see Shreeky do to Beastly what Azula did to Ty Lee in "Return To Omashu", but to Shreeky it is just funny, and she doesn't know any better, and know the consiquences. Azula knows exactly what danger she is putting her friend through, and the mental pain she caused, she knows the danger that could occur. Granted Azula is not a high standard in which to judge someone's humanity. I compair because No Heart and Ozai are very much alike. There is more Ozai in Azula, than No Heart in Shreeky.

Like I said before, they just want to cause trouble, that is all. They are typical, "don't understand the consequences of their actions" characters. They just don't know any better.
 
One of the things I've always found strange, once it was pointed out to me, was that in the second movie the badguy ( Dark Heart ) almost won. The Bears were clearly outmatched, they were struggling to hold their own. If Dark Heart hadn't accidently hit and nearly killed Christy ( and if she hadn't rescued him from drowning earlier thereby planting a seed of kindness in him ) causing him to regret his actions, he would have won. It's only due to his change of heart that the bears were still standing in the end. They couldn't have beaten him otherwise. They were outmatched. Remember kids, if confronted with a force of overwhelming evil, you'd best hope it has a change of heart, because the good guys can't always muster enough power to save you otherwise. Kind of a wierd message to send. I won't even get into the whole pact with the devil thing that was going on there. Christy pretty much accepted a favor in exchange for the care Bears' souls. Kind of dark for a film about pastel colored teddy bears.
 
I am sure change of heart will work in the real world. It will work on Oshama Bin Laden, any moment he is going to have a change of heart. Any moment now.

No Heart is one of the few, if not only upfront villain. He has never tried to convince any kids to join his side, the plot of the movie and tv specials, the villain is trying to trick or convince some kid to be on his or her side, or follow the philosphy of not caring. No Heart never hide that he was evil.
 
I remember that one. Was the show running out of ideas? It seemed that the latter part of the series either dealt with the characters in a Star Trek/prehistoric background or Grammy Bear telling a story.



The battle in the first movie seemed hopeless as well. The Care Bears and Care Bear Cousins practically wore themselves out fighting the evil spirit. It took the two kids to convince Nicholas to overcome the spirit's control.

BTW, does anyone remember a 1992 cartoon special with an animated Roseanne and Tom Arnold? In that one, the two crash a Care Bears picnic (no cariacture) with a van, and Roseanne beans Brave Heart Lion with a hot dog (the point of the special was to show the superiority of 'comedy' animation over 'cute commercial' animation).

You're thinking of The Rosey and Buddy Show. To fully grasp the concept of this special, you must know the whole story behind it:

In 1990, Roseanne Barr created a Saturday morning cartoon for ABC called Little Rosey, starring an animated 10-year-old caricature of herself, and her then husband Tom Arnold was caricatured as her friend Buddy. The show was short-lived; canceled after a single season. Barr blamed the show's demise on interference from the network censors and suits, whom she clashed vehemently with over the show's content; in particular, the big brass wanted Barr to add more boys to the show, but Barr refused, claiming that such a move would make the series "too violent".

The Rosey and Buddy special was made by Barr as revenge on the network suits. In the special, network executives were characterized as "corporate weasels" (actual anthropomorphic weasels in business suits) who only cared about money and ratings, constantly trying to interfere with the slapstick antics of Rosey (Barr) and Buddy (Arnold) while praising the more toy-centric characters like the Care Bears and Strawberry Shortcake (each of whom appeared in cameos). Ironically, The Rosey and Buddy Show was produced by Nelvana studios, who also produced Little Rosey, the original show that caused all of the furor.
 
I saw their first special "Land Without Feelings", I liked them a lot better in the special than on the series. They didn't over do it with cuteness and good two shoe ness. Grumpy Bear was really grumpy back than, later on he was just wining and complaing a lot. The song from "Land Without Feelings" that is a good catchy song. The Bears were really funny for all ages in that special. The first special, and the movies were more watchable for older kids and adult than the series in my opinon and better writen. (though the villains on the two series were excellent, and carried the shows) The humor in the first special is humor similar to chrismas specials like Frosty The Snowman and How The Grinch Stole Chrismas that you could find funny parts even if your older.

They could also have done a movie with No Heart trying to get some unsuspecting kid (like the kid from the first movie) to be his apprentice. Bad guys that try to convert young minds into evil, I love it when villains do that. There would be no Shreeky or Beastly involved. I might include Beastly.

Anyway I am here to tell you with all these talk of Care Bears, inspired me to write a one shot fan fic. It is a crossover of Grim Adventures Of Billy And Mandy and the Care Bears, sort of. The Care Bears are referred to as the Happy Huggy Stuffy Bears. It is very funny. Premese is the Bears try to get Mandy to express feelings of friendship, love, kindness, etc. You can only imagine how it goes. There are a couple of Land Without Feeling refrences.

PS: The Grim Adventures Of Billy and Mandy episode "The Happy Huggy Stuffy Bears", which featured a teddy bear that was a parody of the Care Bears, Eris said she had the bears made in some canadan factory, could that be a reference to Nelvana?, the studio that made the feature movies and the second version of the series, which was located in canada.
 
I remember that show, with mini-versions of Dan and Becky. Considering what happened at the end of Roseanne, the plot theme of Little Rosey has an interesting foreshadow.



Even more ironic is Nelvana scathing its own shows like Care Bears and Strawberry Shortcake! Bettlejuice got away unscathed (though why did they make his hair blue?). Was Nelvana also doing Tom and Jerry the Movie at the time, allowing their cameo appearance?
That special did have an effect on me. Ever since then I tended to go for cartoons with intelligence and humor instead of cute toy animals (and once again, Rosey hitting Braveheart Lion with a hotdog. Priceless).



Agreed in most parts. I preferred the two specials, the first movie (with Carole King's majestic "Care-a-lot"), and the DiC series over everything after the Care Bears II retcon.

When it got to that point, they ever do a dance contest episode? I think that would have been hillarous, whoever hosts the contest could act like Don Corneleous. Anyway Care A Lot would have a dance contest, Shreekly and Beastly would be one dance team, and they of course cheat at various, (I even have a pacific idea when they throw marbels at one of the other teams, I have an evil mind. LOL)

On the subject of those competition episodes, in which Beastly was competing against the Care Bears, I wish in one episode he would win, and the other Care Bears show good sportsmenship, that is a good lesson for kids, show good sportsmenship in defeat, no mater who you lose to.
