Care Bear movie idea end of No Heart story

I can't believe I am typing this, but Blackstar and I had a converstion about the Care Bears on another thread. I don't know how, but somehow it got to that, which is embarassing enough in itself. A show I haven't seen in 15 - 20 years. And I inintally said the villains were not that evil, and he said No Heart was.

I was curious enough to actully watch some episodes on You Tube, Blackstar was right No Heart is evil. I don't care much for the Bears themselfs, but No Heart and his two lackies are actully pretty entertaining, and I love villains who's face you can't see.

I have an idea on how they should have ended the series, or at least this storyline with No Heart with this movie idea.

In the movie, No Heart take his evil up a notch, and it is evil even for Shreaky and Bestly standards, at some point they capture some people, and the prisnors ask Shreaky and Bestly the old question "Why are you doing this?", in the end Shreaky and Bestly turn against No Heart, and No Heart dies.

That is it, write your own stuff for the Care Bears. You know your addicted to fan fics, when you coming up with ideas for the Care Bears.

No according to Wikpedia, the villain in the second movie was someone else, who I guess was similar to him, but wasn't. I checked his name was Dark Heart and had shapeshifting powers, and there was a wizard in the third movie called Wizard Of Wonderland. So you might be confusing No Heart with one of them. No Heart was never in a movie.

Point is, what do you think of my death of No Heart and redemption of Shreaky and Beastly idea? Especially the redemption part, as I said many times, I love redemption stories, and when I observe characters I look to see what characters are redemable or not. I guess that is one thing I have in common with Avatar creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, they love redemptions stories also.

Besides aren't the Care Bears about people becoming better people?

No, that was another character called Dark Heart. I'm not bragging about this, mind you, but I've seen all 3 Care Bears movies. No Heart, Shreeky and Beastly didn't show up in any of the features, although the Wizard of Wonderland's 2 lackeys, Dim and Dum, looked like human versions of Beastly.

As for your idea, Zoombie, it sounds interesting. I always thought No Heart seemed a little hardcore for the Care Bears universe. It would be interesting to see what Beastly and Shreeky would do after No Heart's demise; I don't see either of them going good for long, least of all Shreeky. There was an episode called "Grin and Bear It" where Beastly briefly tried becoming a Care Bear after No Heart kicked him out the castle. Shreeky actually tried to get him back, but No Heart was content to leave him to his fate.

Man, I'm embarrassed that I remember all of this.

I know how you feel. I didn't remember this stuff off the top of my head, I went to Wikipedia to look this stuff up. So that is more embarassing. But once I think of something even lightly, I go all the way with it, that is just the type of person I am. I can't tell you the things I looked up on Wikipedia base on random stuff that popped in my head.

I am 25 years old, I was 4 or 5 years old when that stuff first came on, so really no shame I guess.

I am applying a little Avatar, Teen Titans, etc. writing logic to it. No Heart reminds me of Slade, because he is so mysterous.

In response to your question of Shreeky and Beastly being good and staying good, I am not saying they are going to turn into goodie two shoes perfect angels, which I guess for Care Bear standards is the line between good and evil. I guess they could be adopted by some family that is tolerante of their behavior. Has to weather they Shreeky and Beastly stay good or not, it wouldn't mater because they would never be seen again. The last imagine of them would be being happy, and not being an enemy of the bears anymore, but still not perfect angels either. The end of the No Heart storyline, means the end of the story for all three, as they all would never be seen again. No Heart would be dead, and the other two would just move on somewhere else.

They would still be the mischeous trouble makers, but understand the value of human life, like gray characters. My line between good and evil, you allowed to be a jerk. In the CB world, you can't be a little rough around the edges without be classified as evil.

Looking back on the show, I'm somewhat surprised they never tried pitting the Care Bears up against, say Hate Bears. Similar of course to Captain Pollution from Captain Planet.

Hate was kind of a curse word on the show. The theme would always be the villain trying to rid the world of care, and make the world un caring, while the simple way to say it, was to fell the world with hate.

On your idea, they would have to be called Anti Care Bears, Non Care Bears, etc.

I am not questioning weather they be effective villains or not, infact I agree. I just pointed out the word "Hate" wouldn't be allowed, which I think is kind overly sensative, but it is the way it was done.

Silverstar brought up a CB episode when Beastly quit and joined the Care Bears, and Shreeky wanted to get him back, haven't seen it, from the way it sounds, it sounds like she missed him and actully cares about him, but won't admit it, reminds me of Grim Adventures Of Billy And Mandy, everytime Billy gets lost in some other universe (which is quite often), Mandy tells Grim they have to save Billy, because he owes her money or some other excuse, but the truth is she cares about him, she just won't admit it.

Speaking as a collector of Care Bears there was an issue of the comics where No Heart creates Who Cares Bears. No Bear (Who says no to everything), a sort of anti-thesis to grumpy, Foul Play Bear (Opposite of Champ), there were other but there names escape me. They even had a Who Cares Bear Glare as opposed to a Care Bear stare. That is all.

I can't believe I missed that name. Anyway, I hear the comics also explain the presence of Grams Bear, as well as Hugs & Tugs. Would anyone care to provide any summary?

I've personally never read the comics, but I imagine that would be interesting to find out. I've always wondered about how Grams, Hugs & Tugs fit into the order of things at Care-A-Lot. Their presence wasn't even explained in the 2nd movie, which was basically the origin of the Care Bears.

Personally I found the Care Bears be a little hypocritical, the theme was to express feelings, and they would meet a sad or angry kid, and want the kid to express feelings. Correct me if I am wrong, but aren't sadness and anger feelings?

What is wrong with being angry, or sad, as Marge Simpson said in "Lisa Sings The Blues", If you want to be sad, than be sad.

Personally, I would have rather seen Cold Heart, Dark Heart, and No Heart all join forces to take out the Care Bears. Frostbite, Beastly, and Shrieky all meet, and thus Cold Heart and No Heart meet each other, and also Dark Heart is evil again and joins forces with them.

Or maybe they all could make three bears: Cold Hearted Bear, Dark Hearted Bear, and No Hearted Bear, thus the birth of the evil bears. Not that they are not already evil or anything.

We all know who should be the Care Bears ultimite enemy, Vice President Cheney. That would be a good Robot Chicken peace Cheney vs the Care Bears. If anyone emphases the name No Heart or Black Heart, it is our Vice President. LOL

Another thing I noticed that something like Robot Chicken could parody, is the lack of diversity in the kids on the show. Do they only try to bring happiness to white kids? I am not serious, just an observation.

All kidding aside, nothing against the Care Bears.

Speaking of Robot Chicken, who saw the Care Bears parody peace, Beastly is in it, sort of as a Care Bear. In the end one of the bears, sounds like Beastly. The part just before the cloud guy turned Care A Lot into New Jersey. The bear that said "T.t.that's good raindow." I guess Seth and Matthew or whoever wrote that peace, remembers Beastly, but memory ain't accurate and thought he was one of the Care Bears. For some reason, he was the only Bear wearing a hat.

To get back to track, I think my movie idea, or my movie ending is pretty good. Might to epic for them, but that is what I am, I am all for epic endings.

I was just thinking, earlier I brought up the different standards for good and evil, and how Shreeky and Beastly wouldn't be villains at all on other shows, just mischief causing characters. I think one show at least, their values (minus the rid the world of care, which is really No Heart's thing, they don't care about that, they just want to cause trouble) would be on the good side. A show that is for kids no less is Codename Kid's Next Door, they would be closer to the side of the Kids Next Door than the Delightful Children Down The Lane. KND love to wreck the day of goodie two shoes listen to adult children, which is what Shreeky and Beastly they do, wreck the day of goodie two shoes.

Shows for kids having opposite values.

Sorry to burst your bubble. But Beastly was fired by No Heart because of some mistake actually perpetrated by Shreeky (who framed Beestly for the deed). Also, Shreeky's desire to get Beestly back had nothing to do with feelings. With Beestly gone, Shreeky was now promoted to being No Heart's 'do-the-work-I-want-or-else' slave; definitely no picnic for her. Shreeky cloned herself a few times to make the job easier; definitely no picnic for No Heart. He reconsidered his dismissal of Beestly.

I saw that episode 16 years ago. I have a good photographic memory on cartoons.

Shreekly is a typical lazy kid. Ha ha. Well no matter, I am sure she was still glad when he cameback. LOL

Speaking of Beastly, I have been watching a few CB cartoons the last couple of days on You Tube, I am a person who always gives credit when credit is due, and I must admit, Beastly is hillarous. I am starting to remember why I actully watch the show at all as a kid, Beastly. Even as a kid I was a comedy and action person. Make me laugh or provide great action, and Beastly made me laugh, he is the MVP character. On You Tube, I just fast forwarding to the Beastly parts.

He reminds me of several Hanna Barbara characters, Beastly you could put in a slap stick cartoon enviroment and still be funny. Weather paired with Sheekly, in which they had great comedic chemistry, annoying No Heart, or solo, Beastly is just plan funny.

Let me repeat, I think the Care Bear with the hat that says "That's good rainbow" sounds just like Beastly in the Robot Chicken parody.

I wonder if the Care Bears are as kind and caring as they claim to be, would they do something that a bald hero I know did. (my picture gives you what hint of what I show I am talking about) If Beastly and / or Sheekly were knocked out cold in a middle of a blizzard, would they just leave them there to die?

No Heart was badass, end of story. He always scared the crap outta me when I was a kid.

And, looking at the episode list, Shreeky and Beastly's last appearance on the show prior to it's 3-part Nutcracker-based finale was attending a concert along with the Care Bears with no problem whatsoever, so it does leave one to wonder if they reconsidered their career choice afterall...and of course in that one Shreeky and Beastly accidentally kiss (distuuuuurbing!), causing poor Beastly to have to hide his face in a paperbag for the remainder of the concert. *lol*
