Carbon fibre clear or polish?

With all the carbon bits for Ducatis has anyone yet found a worthwhile polish for carbon.

I've tried Kitten No.1, it buffs it a bit, tried lots of elbowgrease, but I'm afraid of polishing through, to the fibre. Surface is slightly pitted in spots, but only slightly dull. It's a carbon clutch cover I'm trying to restore. I've seem so much dull carbon on older supersports, mainly front guard, I'd never get carbon again.

I use Pledge. Works like a hawt damn and makes the next couple of cleanings super easy. Works great on rims after taking any grease and brake dust off. Makes the next couple cleanings super easy.

I'm in Sydney Australia. I've got some plexus at home, never thought to try it. I'll give it a go.
What's happened though is that some of it's gone a grey colour and I read on another thread that is the end for carbon, don't know if that's true. Just went on a 5000 km trip, when I got back, the cover was this colour. Could be the constant heat?

Welcome to the forum David, come and intro yourself in the aussie section...

could be the heat David, is the clutch cover vented at all?? sounds like moisture may have gotten under the clear coat? might be possible to strip the clear coat, polish and re coat, but is it worth it? clutch covers are pretty cheap nowadays..

Yeah, you're right, it's a closed DP cover, guess I'll just get a new cover, someday.

It was meant to be more of a general question for all those with the same problem.

Better look in the Aussie section, introduce myself, as you say.

Saw your pics of your old Multi, and your comment about missing the e-bay 1000s, your old one was much tricker, why did you sell? Thanks for the advice.
