i found some carbon clutch covers on ebay & i wanted to know if anyone has one.

what's the quality like?

is that carbon thin or strong?

has anyone broke for some reason?

Care to share just what ones you are looking at?? Some are cheap and pretty, some are dear and quality..

IMO they would be more bling than functional - kevlar ones would offer greater protection but not as much as say a woodcraft or other alloy ones.

I had a CF cover on mine one time (yes , real CF). Didn't like the way it faded and discolored , just looked ugly after awhile.

But thats just me.

It was vacuumed bagged so it should be okay.
I've gotten one from ebay (Bestem) and the UV clear coat got messed up cause I leaned the bike against something (my fault). but other than that it is working out as it should. The one thing I will say is the 1x1 weave is WAYYYY oFFFF so that is the downside of cheaper carbon.
