Carb float problem;; bike?

2002 cr250. 2 stroke. After I cleaned carb, and put back together, gas leak out of over flow. After I re opened carb, and I hold float up, gas still leaks out of valve. I readjusted float but gas will still leak out even if I push the little slider up hard. All rubber is still there.

any ideas. also, if I blow into gas inlet, and hold up float, it holds the air back, but not gas.
even if i push up slider has hard as I can.. gas will still come out when gas on.

See if the float will float in a jar of gas. If not, replace it.
