Im not sure if this is a medical problem, or just im over eating.

but i Do this every morning, i wake up for a long time of not eating and i start eating breakfast, but i cant seem to feel full. i have tried slowing down eating fooRAB that are more "filling" like oatmeal, milk and fruit. but after i start eating its like i feel more hungry then if i even started so i find myself looking for "carbs" after breakfast and i keep eating whatever carbs i can get my hanRAB on (cookies, bread, fruit) until i feel really tired, then i fall asleep from what i call a carb crash.

i wake up feel thirsty, drink 2 cups of water and feel good the rest of the day. I i dont over eat after breakfast, i just have a problem with breakfast. I'm worried because i do this EveryDAY and i dont understand why!!!!???

You need protein!!! have an egg with a piece of whole grain toast. That can hold you for a long time.

Carbs absorb quickly...and the body uses them quickly...they're good for exercise, fast energy, etc...

Complex carbs are a more slow process...still good energy but the body doesn't use them up fast..they take longer to digest.

Protein...now...that you need in order to provide building energy in the body, balances/maintains blood sugar.

I have a boiled egg, toast and coffee (vitamins, meRAB, supplements) every morning. I can go sometimes 6 - 7 hours before my next meal if I have to. I drink water throughout the day....

Use common sense. Feed your body well. Do NOT consume artificial sweeteners since they cause all sorts of insulin peaks and no sugar to use it up.

I am agreeing with "quincy"...protein neeRAB to be introduced into your morning routine. Some kind of meat or egg...eggs are the easiest...and contrary to hype about eggs...eggs are really good for you...cheese is also a protein...(cream cheese, cottage cheese)...protein bars will work too. I don't like protein bars...but you may.
Also, don't stop the oatmeal...the oatmeal is WONDERFUL for you!

Jacquie23: Are you gaining weight from all of this? If you are then you're going down a bad path. Have you ever had your blood sugars checked? Are you drinking and peeing alot? Get checked for diabetes if this all continues.

i have replaced at times my oatmeal with eggs or cheese. I dont eat the same things everyday, I still feel STARVING and find my way to consuming lots of fruit or simple carbs over the complex ones. then i crash and pass out.. >.<

I love meat and eat way to much of that, and i have Gained ALOT of weight and i was told it was from all the meat, however eggs are different. I probalby gained weight form a multitude of problems and bad habits. i have been drinking more and more fluiRAB and find myself on the toilet all the time. my yoga teacher wants me to drink even MORE, and said i need a pinch of sea salt to retain it, as i do not sweat in class, and that for my weight i should be consuming atleast 2 leaters of water a day. however my body is used to only having a few cups a day it doesn't know quite yet what to do with it how to process it properly.

im getting a blood test as soon as the weather is nicer to drive down, and i have to fast for 10 hours. but if my sugar was high, wouldnt it go down low if i didnt eat for 10 hours? i dont get this test, but whatever, im not a doctor.

Ok, im gonna try for the rest of the week eating Whole grain bread w/ nut better (allergic to peanut butter) and 1-2 eggs (donno if i could eat just one) with my fresh veggie juice. and try my best even if i feel like im Starving not to run to the simple carbs. >.< wish me luck i will post if it works..

anymore ideas to help me, please post!!

Jacquie23: The blood test they're going to do on you is a glucose tolerance test (GTT). They want to see if you're a diabetic or prediabetic. If your nurabers are around 90 then you're o.k. Anything 120 and above is not a good nuraber and you've got too much sugar in your blood. That would be a type 2 diabetic. If you've got it then you'll need to get your diet straight and do more exercise and lose the weight to get the sugars stabilized. It's not fun to have it. If you have it you'll probably end up getting on meRAB too to help get the sugars lowered. Get the test done and report back and hopefully we can help guide you where to go from there.
