My car has a brandnew battery. About a month old, so I'm fairly positive it isn't that. However, as of the past couple/few weeks my car DOES NOT want to start with the first turn of the key..or second...or third...
It will usually take somewhere between 5-10 tries to get my car to start up. (I'm afraid this wont be the case soon and it will stop doing that even) There ISN'T any noise. Except for some light "burrrm" noise right after the first 3 turns of the key. Then there is absolutely no noise for the following tries. My lights, a/c, door alarm etc, however, DO come on. Once my car starts up, it runs just fine. And when it does finally start with the umpteenth turn of the key...it seems like its not even a struggle for the car...just starts up nice...Well, except for the first 10 tries with no results, of course
)
My car is 1994 Plymoth Sundance 4 cylinder (2.5L)
It has roughly 137,500 miles on it, if that is helpful to know in any way.
Please help guide me in the right direction...this young lady doesn't have a backyard mechanic to help for her fixes..And have been screwed one too many times by shops. Help help help!
