Car with faster acceleration/speed? Ford Focus 2010 or Dodge Avenger 2010?

I asked a couple of people this and they all said the Dodge Avenger which would make sense..... however I just test drove both of them and The focus kind of felt faster..... which one of these cars has the best acceleration/speed? I'm buying a car and acceleration is important for me....... Anyone know?
