car whizzing/ whining noise ?

hi i have a renault megane 2.0 petrol manual the car sound fine when ticking over stationary but when you acelerate in or out of gear it makes a whining or whizzing noise as if you are in reverse any ideas to what the problem could be ? answers please its bugging me so badly
hi the 1996 2.0 megane convertible manual gear box ,petrol, makes a whizzing kind of noise / whining when acelerating not on idle , mostly heard when pulling away fast or if reved in idol any ideas if is please let me know the probm sorce
like it is reversing that noise if any1 says bearings , where abouts etc , are they expensive to fix etc
 
Hi. It should be some bearings that are not enjoying the cold weather. Usually this is nothing to worry about. Worry when it warms up and it is still doing it.
ps I`m in Canada
