This happened tonight. We just had a snow storm, and the problem may have been caused because of cold temperature. I left my truck in reverse last night. When I tried to drive it tonight, the clutch was loose until about 7/8ths of the way to the floor, then I could feel pressure kick in. When I tried to leave from my destination later on in the night, the truck had a few problems too. 1. I could start it in neutral, but could not shift it into any gear. 2. So I tried to start it while it was in gear. With my foot on the brake(clutch in), it would not start; it would only shake the truck. However with my foot off of the brake (giving it no gas, clutch in) it would go forward or backward depending on whether i was in first or neutral.
I tried to be as descriptive as possible, any help would be great. When I wake tomorrow I will be taking your answers into consideration while fixing the truck. But for now, the truck is in the garage in hopes of it thawing out the problem.
