Car trouble. No one knows what is wrong with it. 2001 Ford Focus ZX3?

2001 Ford Focus ZX3. My gauges sweep up and down, my lights dim, radio turns off and shifts down real hard. Dealership does not know what is wrong. I have replaced a ignition switch and timer module. Could it be a battery, or altenator?
