M Mr. KnowItAll New member Oct 5, 2009 #4 If this ws an old Chevy, or Ford, I'd say not to change it at that many miles. However, being a Honda you may consider changing it. Did you look at the oil on the dipstick? Did it look discolored to you? Or are you simply trusting everything you're being told? Smell it too....Does it smell burned?

K kelly_f_1999 New member Oct 5, 2009 #5 sure you do and you can check that easy if its not much red color to it its time to change and you dont need a dealership to change oil just higher cost any shop can do service or oil changes just get the paper work
