Some days back, I had gone for Regular Servicing, where the Service Shop said that, my tire pressure was higher than manufacturer recommended and inflated/deflated some tires. (Front -- Left-30/Right- 60 Rear -- Left-45/Right-20). I came back, parked my car and was at home all day.
The same night, I had a problem with my car. Before going out I noticed that my Front Left Side Tire was flat. It appeared flat from the side. I got the spare tire on with help of a friend who pointed out that a nail was in there , that was the reason for the flat tire. I kept the flat tire in the trunk. One side was flat.
Next day Morning, I took the car to a Tire shop to get the tire fixed. The Mechanic called me in and showed that the Tire was back to proper shape/pressure and he cannot see any leak at all ! I told him what flat shape it was at night. He showed me the pressure and told that there is no leak, it is not a flat tire and you are just fine !
Guys, this is something which has got me in a fix ! How did the tire come back to proper pressure over night ? Is there any leak ? Do I need to look out for some thing. How can I make sure, that my tire is ok ? What do I need to check ?
Please provide some opinions.
