I ran a car tire on a gl1800 wing with good results. Did so on the advice from a retired crop duster from Texas who was tired of mc tire blowouts. A big thing I noticed was tracking straight over rode snakes which previously, on mc tires, would result in deviation. Funny part was easier low speed handling when going straight, funny in that I hardly had to put my feet down to balance at a stop. I was about #350 darksider on their forum and, same as here, only the ones not using were negative. When time comes I`ll be putting a ct on my Roadglide. I`m surprised the run flat applicability hasn`t been mentioned more. Gravel, rain, cracks and road snakes are negotiated much better with ct`s on the back of a motorcycle from my experience. The ride is much improved also at 28psi. A darksider also posted footprints comparing mc`s with ct`s. Ct`s were bigger even rolled on their sides simulating turns.
