i'm thinking about buying a serious radio, but i want to know how the payment options are. Do you have to pay monthly for services or something? All i know is that there is an activation fee that's it. And the other question is do i need an amp for my new serious radio. I as well am looking to buy a better but have no idea what to buy and what to put in.
 
my car came with satellite radio built in. when the trial time was up, they gave me an option to pay monthly, yearly or in a five-year bundle (about five hundred bucks).
