I was wondering how this set up would sound ??? I just purchased two mtx magnum dual 10 inch boxes .... so i have a total of four 10 inch subs " two in each box" I was wondering if the bass would be good if i faced the boxes back to back in my trunk ... like two subs facing the trunk hatch and two facing the rear seats ??? How would this sound and is there a better way to do this ???

Thats pretty rough...it's probably not going to play well. I'd suggest youplay with it...face it any way you like and try to see which sounds best. It is also about cancellation. IF the subs are facing a certain way, and you have another set facing another way, then it is possible you can cause cancellation of the sound. Making the bass sounds less or not so good etc.

So just play with it and figure out what sounds best for your car.

I have to do that with my subs as well....look at my avatar.

I WOULD TRY TO PUT THEM BACK TO BACK BUT,HAVE THEM FACING THE FENDERS NOW I NOT AN EXPERT BUT I THINK THE WOULD BREATH BETTER THIS WAY THEN AGAIN I DONT KNOW WHAT KNID OF CAR YOU HAVE AND WHAT SIZE TRUNK
YOU HAVE WELL GOOD LUCK!!

Well I know the ones that are facing the seats will sound fine but the ones facing back have the potential to cause more rattling depending on how close to the physical back of your car. Don't know what else to tell ya. Hook it up and check it out for yourself. Thats really all you can do. Goodluck
