I am installing a stereo- I have never had problems before. I have the rear front, left etc, hooked up, ground also.
The yellow from the stereo is power and I need to know where the accessory wire goes.
There are 3 red wires- 12v that come out from the harness.
There is also, the dimmer, and illumination and another wire (yellow) which is not labeled (I don't think I use this one), a black with white stripe that is labeled AMP ground (I do not have an amp).
All I have left coming from the stereo module is power, and the accessory.
Does the accessory go to the illumination, dimmer or the other 12 volt? How can I found out which 12 v from the wiring harness is constant or doesn't it matter?
Is it possible to hook it up wrong and damage the unit?
